Typical customer unfriendly United, you can search airport yo look for flights. The checking-in is fine but that is pretty much the minimum you would expect.

I really enjoy the app as it makes my weekly travel as convenient and simple as possible. As a person who travels United at least 2-3 times every week, I have one suggestion. When flights are delayed, it would be very helpful to include an updated pre boarding time in flight status. This is especially helpful when a flight time is adjusted several times. Im about efficiency, so why not include that as well? It gives passengers a real time update so if they are running late from a connecting flight or whatever they are aware they need to rush or not rush. Maybe they need to grab a bite to eat before. This would be a great addition.

The Check In feature (within 24 hours of departure) is still buggy. It asks for my flights or a reservation number. In some cases, my reservation will not immediately show up under my flights. I have to go to the home screen, refresh and I end up seeing it there but it most often does not show there immediately.

I had a connecting flight with incorrect information. It had the time, flight number, and destination of my flight correct, but it gave me a completely wrong boarding gate. My mother was on the same flight so luckily we noticed the differences in our boarding passes before it was too late, but this couldve caused a lot of problems! I was almost sent to Atlantis instead of Indianapolis.

So happy I fly Delta for 95 percent of all my work trips. First off it very un user friendly and on top of that WHY do I have to enter my flight confirmation number to information on my flight after logging in. This app is pathetic. I know I stated Delta has an amazing app but Americans and Southwest is okay too but this United app is garbage.

Kudos to Uniteds app team. Your application is way ahead of the competition. I love seeing the airplanes details (like if it has outlets) and being able to change my seats/flights in the app.

I can only see flight statuses on this week, it would be better if you offered more dates.

easy to check my flight status, check in. fast to update about gate changes and delays.

After the most recent update, this app goes not work. Anytime you attempt to "book a flight" and fill in the criteria, it shows "we are not able to find any seats that meet your criteria." Ive tried troubleshooting with cities and departure dates. Nothing. Before this update, it was agonizingly slow too. Likewise, I have some one-time club passes I want to add and that isnt an option. Im disappointed with United. Hurry it up and fix it before you lose a regular valuable United card member!

Why built the beta movie player into an app? This one is keep crashing. Making it worse experience for me.

Great for my boarding pass and that was about it. If you want to watch movies or tv shows, download them onto a device, fly Southwest, OR swipe your debit card to pay for the ability to watch direct tv on the in-seat screens. Thought United would provide entertainment services better than Southwests free version. Nope.

I cant log in. Changed my password and still cant log in.

This app allegedly can take a picture of your passport so you dont have to check in at the airport. After spending nearly an hour trying to figure out how to take the picture with the app, I finally gave up. This appwas undoubtedly developed by geeks for geeks, leaving the rest of us out in the cold.

For the most part the app is good. A few weird things go on though. Like email summary of reservation never works for me no matter what address I put in. Or I have booked three flights in as many months that upon receiving the confirmation via email had jacked up dates. I also dont like the new each way pricing, it seems like a strategy to charge more and make it more difficult to figure out the round trip rates as compared to competition. One more thing I notice is about half the time my boarding passes dont get added to the boarding pass section of the app automatically no matter how many times I follow the check in process...... And there it is.

App is useless. It knows i have a reservation for today, booked together w/ another traveler,for which I am checked in but does not recognize there IS a mobile boarding pass for the flight. The "check in" feature requires me to type my name & confirmation #, even though under Reservations it contains my flight info. Why do I have to retype this? & Why if I am already checked in (from another device) does it not register this and simply show my boarding pass? The Delta app does NOT have these problems. Under Notifications: why do I have to opt in to receive them for each flight individually? Of COURSE I want to know if its beed delayed, which it has btw. Booking on the Delta app, also far easier, but Ive gone on long enough.

On both iPhone and iPad. Deleted it.

This app would not allow me to pay for my reservation. Had to go to my desktop PC. Argh! Not such a good app if you cannot even make a reservation.

To say you are listening to the complaints, and come out with this "upgrade" is a disgrace to your dwindling number of customers. This app is a complete and utter design failure. Start over, please. The company known for abysmal technology, needs a total management change before any real improvement will ever take place.
